Warwick – who has become a social media star as of late – started musing about the project on her beloved Twitter in December 2020 when she asked fans ‘I want you to be honest now. I really gotta know this. If I did a series, would you guys really watch?’

And in the accompanying tweet she already had an idea for her leading lady and studio, saying: ‘This is a case for @netflix. Please don’t ask who I would cast to play me as it would obviously be @TEYANATAYLOR.’

Taylor responded by quote-retweeting Warwick, responding with a number of ‘raising hands’ emojis in praise.
