Amanda Holden has reportedly made more than £1million in a year from selling her homeware range on TV shopping channel QVC.

The TV presenter, 49, launched her Bumbleberry furniture and accessories collection in 2017 and saw it quickly sell out when she appeared on the network last year.

Now an insider has told The Sun that Amanda has raked in an impressive £1.1million from selling the items which include cocktail glasses and lamps.

‘Amanda also managed to sell out her whole range in just 45 minutes when she appeared on QVC for a special episode last year and there is no doubt her new Spring/Summer collection will do the same.’

MailOnline has contacted Amanda’s representative for a comment.

It’s been a busy year for Amanda even though she’s not been able to judge Britain’s Got Talent after the show was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Bosses of the show said that despite the efforts of the teams at ITV, Thames and head judge Simon Cowell’s Syco, they were forced to call plans off.

They said: ‘With our absolute priority of safeguarding the well-being and health of every person involved in the programme from judges, hosts and contestants to all of the crew and audience, the decision has been made to – unfortunately – move the record and broadcast of the 15th series of Britain’s Got Talent to 2022…

‘Safety has to come first and, as a result, the recording of the show can’t currently go ahead as planned.’

However despite missing out on this major earner, Amanda has managed to have a strong 12 months in which she launched her album, Songs From My Heart.

The record, which was released in October, was even named the biggest-selling and highest-charting debut by a female artist in 2020.

And speaking about its success doting mum Amanda revealed her two daughters were ‘flabbergasted’ that she overtook Dua Lipa in the charts.

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, Amanda said her children had been hugely proud of her chart success.

She said: ‘They’re really proud of Mummy. I think they were a bit like,”What? I can’t believe it!”, especially when I overtook Dua Lipa in the album charts, they were a bit flabbergasted by that.

‘But they’re my daughters, I’m their Mummy. They’re not really keeping an eye on it until Daddy says something at teatime.

‘Chris [her husband] is enormously proud. He’s been like a proud parent, if that’s the right thing to say, going around talking about it.

‘It was wonderful to be with him throughout it all. It was our project. So, to have the success together has been the icing on the cake for me.’
