Rocco Ritchie holds hands with mystery brunette on the beach in Tulum

Rocco Ritchie was spotted holding hands with a mystery brunette as he soaked up the sun in Tulum, Mexico on Tuesday.

The son of Guy Ritchie and Madonna, 20, sent tongues wagging as he hit the beach with his pretty female friend.  

The pair were spotted walking along the shore with their hands interlinked, before heading to a day bed to rest in the shade.   

Rocco arrived in a nautical striped T-shirt and navy board shorts. 

After stripping off his T-shirt, the actor headed for a swim in the sea before joining his female friend under a cabana. 

The pair appeared to have a close relationship with Rocco lying down on a day bed near the mystery brunette. 

Rocco’s female friend cut a chic figure in a white shirt and black shorts. 

She tied her hair back into a bun and shielded her eyes from the sun’s rays with brown sunglasses.  

Celebrities and influencers, including Rocco’s sister Lourdes, have been flocking to Mexico’s bars and beaches as it establishes itself as the latest COVID getaway destination. 

The country, which is not yet on the UK’s travel red-list, appears to be the new destination of choice for global jet-setters and could rocket in popularity after travel from influencer magnet Dubai was banned on Friday.   

Travel abroad is now banned from the UK without a legally permitted reason, Home Secretary Priti Patel announced last week, as she criticised influencers for ‘showing off in sunny parts of the world’. 

While not on the UK’s travel red-list, Mexico has been one of world’s counties hardest hit by the coronavirus. 

Rocco spends most of him time in London, where his father Guy resides.  

Back in 2016, Guy, 52, won a bitter nine month custody battle he had been entrenched in with Madonna over where their son should live. 

The Sherlock Holmes director reached a settlement with the pop star hours before they were due in court in New York.

Rocco was last romantically linked to model Kim Turnbull, the pair were thought to have started dating in late 2016, having been spotted on a string of affectionate dates in London.  

The model even joined Rocco’s siblings Lourdes, 24, David, 15, and Mercy, 15, on their family skiing holiday to Verbier, Switzerland in 2017.

However, the couple parted ways in August that year, with Rocco allegedly falling for 16-year-old singer Chantelle Lee. 

Rocco and Chantelle have been hanging out a lot,’ an insider told The Mirror at the time, adding the pair, who run in the same social group, have been getting ‘closer’ lately.

The source said that ‘Rocco is smitten and has even introduced Chantelle to his dad Guy,’ the director of cinematic classics such as Sherlock Holmes, Snatch, and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.
