Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has revealed she once checked up on her teenage boyfriend in the middle of the night to make sure he hadn’t snuck another girl into his bedroom.
Speaking on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Thursday, the 46-year-old radio host confessed it was ‘the most stalker-ish thing I ever did’.
‘I had a boyfriend when I was 16. We were meant to go out that night, and he said, “I just want to go out with the boys. I’m having a boys’ night,”‘ she explained.

‘I was so paranoid, that I set my alarm for 4am and I got my mum – why my mum was in on this, I don’t know – to drive over to his place,’ she added.
‘His bedroom window [faced] the front of the house, and I opened the bedroom window, because it wasn’t locked, and looked inside to see if there was a girl in there. There wasn’t, so it was all good. He was sleeping on his own.’
Jackie, a twice-divorced mother of one, concluded: ‘I’m not like that anymore! You know, we do dumb things when we’re 16.’

In 2018, Jackie announced her split from her husband of 15 years, Lee Henderson.
The former couple are parents to a 10-year-old daughter, Kitty.
Jackie complained about still being single during a discussion on her radio show in June last year.
‘I had a boyfriend when I was 16. We were meant to go out that night, and he said, “I just want to go out with the boys. I’m having a boys’ night,”‘ she explained
A glum-sounding Jackie admitted that it was because she ‘doesn’t go out’ and meet single men.
‘I haven’t gone out a lot to be honest since I’ve been single,’ she confessed, prompting her co-host Kyle Sandilands, 49, to ask her if it was because she’s ‘too miserable’.
‘No, not too miserable. I don’t know what it is, Kyle. I don’t know what it is,’ she replied, sounding quite upset.

But just days later, Jackie clarified that she was actually ‘really happy’ with her single status.
‘I don’t know if I ever really want to live with someone again,’ she confessed on The Kyle & Jackie O Show.
‘I don’t get lonely and I’m really happy with my daughter, and that’s kind of it for me for right now. I don’t think about it.’

At the time, Jackie said she hadn’t dated anyone since splitting from Lee, which was the longest period of time she’d stayed single since she was 16.
‘I’ve never, ever in my life been at this point. Every time I’ve been out of a relationship I’ve wanted to get back into one as quick as I can because I couldn’t be alone,’ she said.
‘I literally was out of a relationship and then on the hunt for a new relationship. I’ve never really had much breaks in between relationships before.’
