Gary Beadle has reportedly refused to take part in Geordie Shore’s 10th anniversary special as he’s ‘grown up and moved on’.

The reality star, 32, shot to fame alongside co-stars Vicky Pattison and Holly Hagan as well as on-off girlfriend Charlotte Crosby after the show launched in 2011 however he has since started a business and had two children with fiancée Emma McVey.

A source told The Sun: ‘Gaz has told bosses and the rest of the cast he’s too busy to come back for the ten year anniversary.

‘MTV bosses will be fuming as Gaz owes his whole career to the show, so it’s a bit cheeky to turn around and snub their big reunion.

‘Everyone else is excited to return for the show and where it all began, but Gaz has told people he’s not interested: he’s grown up and moved on.’

MailOnline has contacted Gary’s representative and MTV for a comment. 

Gary did feature in Geordie Shore: Their Story which aired in 2020 and saw a range of stars reflecting on their childhood journeys to life in the spotlight.

Holly Hagan, Sophie Kasaei, Marnie Simpson, Aaron Chalmers, Nathan Henry, Abbie Holborn and James Tindale also appeared on the spin-off. 

In a trailer clip uploaded to the show’s Instagram account, model Holly said: ‘I had absolutely no idea how big Geordie Shore was going to get!’

While Father-of-two Gaz reflected on his days as a Lothario as he admitted: ‘Back then I was so arrogant.’

The media personality later detailed his shift from being a party animal to a doting parent after leaving the show in 2017 as he added: ‘It’s that kind of feeling that like deep down you were ready to be a dad.’ 

Gary dated Charlotte on the show, but they split in 2016 when he reportedly slept with Jemma Lucy during their tumultuous five year romance. 

He’s now engaged to Emma, with the reality star pulling out all the stops for his partner of nearly four years for their proposal by treating her to a lavish fireworks display in their garden and a personalised sign which read: ‘Will you marry me?’

Gaz shared a video of the fireworks display to Instagram and photo stills of the proposal in a sweet montage to the tune of Bruno Mars’ Marry You. 

The former Geordie Shore star and Emma were first reported to be dating in January 2016 following the breakdown of his on-off relationship with Charlotte and they made their romance official in August 2016.

As well as daughter Primrose, they’re also parents to son Chester.
