Before Kramer brought on Lafferty and Colletti, who were promoting their new Hulu series Everyone Is Doing Great, she made it clear her friendships were affected by an unnamed person who, ‘made it hell’ for the rest of the cast and crew.

‘When I was on the show … there was just some, not cattiness, but just, “You can’t talk to this person if you’re friends with this person,”‘ she said.

‘So I wasn’t very close to James because of certain situations on the set at the time,’ she added.

She continued that she was ‘closest’ with Colletti, because she had, ‘all my scenes with Stephen,’ and she had ‘very few scenes with James.’

Kramer added that now, ‘everyone is really close, and it’s kind of frustrating because I’m like, ‘Why couldn’t we have all be friends then?”‘

She added this person, ‘made the newbies’ life a little bit of hell, but it’s cool.

Her husband Caussin, who she’s been married to since 2015, added that, ‘whoever you stuck with, you had to stick with.’

‘Yeah, but now it’s like, annoying because they’re all like, “We’re all friends now,” and I’m just like, ‘You… one person, literally made it hell for us, because if we chose the wrong friend, we would be destroyed,'” she told Caussin.

Caussin added that, ‘now they’re all adults,’ with Kramer adding that she, along with Shantel VanSanten and Robert Buckley came on in Season 7, while the rest of the cast, ‘had six years to form these hatreds and connections and all these things.’

Kramer had previously hinted at her troubles on the set in a 2019 interview with another One Tree Hill alum, Bethany Joy Lenz.

‘”It was hard for us, because I felt like when we came on the show, just being so honest, it was a very divided set,’ Kramer said.

‘I feel like everyone already kinda had their places and it was either, are you going to be in the ‘A team’ or the ‘B team?’ It was just tricky,’ she added.
