Kiss rocker Gene Simmons has sold his Hollywood Hills pad with stunning views of downtown Los Angeles for $2million, which was a fraction under the star’s original asking price of $2.2million.
The singer’s three-story property in Laurel Canyon is a modern rock palace has four bedrooms and two bathrooms with 360 degree views of the iconic Los Angeles skyline.
The rock n’ roll icon, 70, bought the hillside home in 2013 for a cool $1.45million and has made more than half a million on the resale in just eight years.

The home originally had a mid-century modern feel before he made some contemporary adjustments to it upon purchase. He renovated bathrooms and kitchens, but opted to keep some of the house’s original charm.

The open plan kitchen has modern features with washed hardwood floors and white walls and a glass door. The area spills out into the living room area.
The master bedroom is large with high ceilings that have recessed lighting. The floors look to be gray concrete with three steps up to the hallway. And there is a cut in the wall that offers a day bed with built-in shelves.

He has been in lockdown with his wife Shannon Tweed and their daughter Sophie Simmons.
As a result, he’s put his 16,000-square-foot Beverly Hills mansion, which includes seven bedrooms, up for sale for $22 million.
When he first bought the property in 1984 for $1.35 million it was a ranch house on a hillside in the Benedict Canyon neighborhood of Los Angeles, according to The Wall Street Journal.
