Actor Luke Evans flaunts his ripped physique in tiny red shorts at Sydney’s Bondi Beach

He has recently been enjoying some time Down Under as he filmed Nine Perfect Strangers in Australia. 

And on Wednesday Luke Evans was spotted soaking up the sun with a pal at Bondi Beach in Sydney. 

The hunky 41-year-old Welsh actor showcased his ripped physique and a brand new bird tattoo on his upper thigh. 

The Hobbit star put his toned abs and sun-kissed tan on full display in a pair of tiny red boardshorts.  

He completed the look with a gold chain and sunglasses as he carried a pair of brown thongs. 

Meanwhile, his pal flaunted his equally buff physique in a pair of navy blue shorts and thongs. 

The mystery man paired the look with a gold chain and sunglasses as he toted a black beach bag.

The pair set up their towels and Luke stripped down to a pair of bright yellow swim briefs. 

Luke and his friend enjoyed a bite to eat on the beach, before he headed home on the back of his mate’s motor scooter. 

The outing comes after Luke recently confirmed his split from his art director boyfriend Rafael Olarra. 

Luke was rumoured to have split from Rafael last October after they unfollowed one another on Instagram, but days later appeared to patch things up.

Speaking to The Times’ Saturday Review in January, Luke has confirmed he is single, saying: ‘It is what it is.’

The couple started dating in summer 2019 and made their relationship official on social media the following February.   

Meanwhile, Luke has been busy shooting Nine Perfect Strangers in Australia, in which he plays divorce lawyer Lars, and admitted it was ‘nice’ to portray a gay character on screen for the first time.

He said: ‘It was a lovely character to delve into and to calibrate and deliver this complex person. But, yes, it was nice to play a gay character after all these years of doing roles on stage and screen.’
