A Current Affair reporter reveals the BRUTAL message a female Channel Nine star sent to a creepy interviewee – after he texted asking to ‘catch up’ despite being married with children
A Current Affair presenter Seb Costello has revealed that an interview subject once sent a female reporter a sleazy text asking if she wanted to ‘catch up after hours’.
Seb didn’t name the journalist in question, but said she was ‘very well-known’ and that the man she’d interviewed on ACA was married with children.
He also disclosed on Triple M’s Moonman in the Morning that the female reporter had responded to the inappropriate offer in the most brutal manner.

The journalist, whom Seb chose not to identify but who has a ‘high-profile role’ at Channel Nine, had interviewed the husband and father for A Current Affair.
During the segment, the man apparently discussed how much he loved his family.
But after the show aired, the journalist saw a very different side to her interviewee.
‘Anyway, the story goes to air and a few hours later the journo gets a text from this wonderful father of the year candidate,’ Seb said.

‘The father of the year candidate said to the female journalist, “That was great. How about you and I catch up after hours?”‘
When the female reporter responded with a simple question mark, the married man got even more crude in his follow-up message.
‘He wrote, “It would be good to catch up off camera or on, if you’d prefer, LOL,”‘ Seb added.
Ouch! He also revealed on Triple M’s Moonman in the Morning (hosts pictured) that the female reporter had responded to the inappropriate offer by threatening to tell the man’s wife
The journalist then offered a brutal response to his flirty advances.
‘She finished this off by writing: “Having done the story, I have your wife’s number. Just let me check with her first.”‘
Seb concluded: “That was the end of that!’
