They recently formed an unlikely new friendship while competing in the Australian jungle on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

And now Abbie Chatfield has called for her co-star Paulini Curuenavuli to become the next Bachelorette.

Speaking on the TV Reload podcast on Tuesday, Abbie said: ‘I’ve been campaigning for Paulini  [to become the next Bachelorette].’

‘I’ve got a social media campaign. I started with a campaign to win I’m A Celeb, that’s a tick, next stop is Paulini for Bachelorette.’

‘I’m going to try and make it happen she is the absolute, she is such a lovely human, she is talented. She is gorgeous, she is everything.’

Abbie went on to explain Paulini is open to looking for love and she feels that she’s got what it takes to follow in Angie Kent’s footsteps as the next Bachelorette.

Paulini recently confessed that she’d love to appear on the dating show because it would be the perfect opportunity to represent multicultural Australia.

‘I’ve never watched it but if I was the first person of colour to be on there, then bring it on,’ the 38-year-old singer told HuffPost Australia.

‘I would love that. It would just be fun but I’m quite reserved and shy so let’s just see,’ she added.

Last month, Abbie shared a post to Instagram calling for Paulini to become the next Bachelorette.  

Abbie placed second during Matt Agnew’s season of The Bachelor in 2019 and also starred on the last season of Bachelor In Paradise.

‘Beautiful inside and out… my campaign remains for Bachelorette 2021 pls Paulini Curuenavuli,’ she wrote.
