The Project’s Carrie Bickmore unrecognisable in throwback photos of herself as teenager in the 1990s

She’s no stranger to sharing throwback photos of herself to Instagram.

On Monday, The Project host Carrie Bickmore, 40, had her followers doing a double take when she shared a collage of photographs from the 1990s to her social media.

‘The ’90s… when you didn’t get the chance to take a photo multiple times til you got one with your eyes open,’ she cheekily captioned the post.

One photo shows a much younger Carrie wearing a red sleeveless top while her hair was slicked back behind her ears.

A second scanned photograph shows Carrie sporting much darker locks, while appearing to hold hands with a male.

Meanwhile a third image shows the long running television presenter smiling at the camera, wearing a printed floral dress.

Unknowingly at the time, Carrie, now, 40, appeared to have her eyes half open, and was unable to see how the photo turned out until she got the film developed.

Carrie’s post was quickly inundated with comments from her followers, including her Channel 10 co-stars.

‘Or get it in the centre of the shot. So cute,’ wrote Lisa Wilkinson.

Meanwhile, Studio 10’s Sarah Harris commented the word ‘CUTE’ alongside a heart-eyed emoji.

Last week Carrie sent fans into a frenzy whens he debuted her stylish new look after taking a few weeks break.

The TV host was seen rocking a cropped blonde ‘do, which fans on social media compared to how Cameron Diaz looked in the ’90s.
