Miley Cyrus wants to be the wedding singer at Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s nuptials

Miley Cyrus wants in on Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s wedding day.

The 28-year-old singer was quick to offer her services at her former Voice co-stars’ impending nuptials as she tweeted, ‘@gwenstefani @blakeshelton I’ll be your wedding singer!’ on Sunday.

The couple first announced their engagement back in October after dating since 2015 but have put planning on hold amid the COVID-19 pandemic, but Miley found it the perfect time to throw her hat in the ring.

The wedding singer: Miley Cyrus, 28, tweeted on Sunday that she wants to be Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s wedding singer adding ‘I promise to be on my best behavior. Or worst. whatever you want!’

Continuing on in true Miley form she said, ‘I promise to be on my best behavior. Or worst. whatever you want! It’s your special day!,’ before wishing them well.

Gwen seemed to softly accept the proposal as she responded, ‘thanks puppy,’ with a heart.

Miley had also buttered the duo up in her tweet as she wrote, ‘Cheers to loving you both almost as much as you love each other.’

The social media exchange was prompted after Gwen responded to a video of Miley singing her song Prisoner on NPR to which Stefani wrote ‘talented geeezzzz.’

Unable to contain her excitement, the Midnight Sky singer re-tweeted the response and said, ‘When my hero’s tweet me I get horny.’

A taken aback Gwen wrote, ‘omg your crazy!! blushing…’, before Miley slid in with her idea for their wedding gig.

Cyrus perhaps has a leg up in the situation as Shelton confessed he was a longtime fan of her dad Billy Ray Cyrus when he was in high school.

Miley spilled the beans ahead of their season of The Voice in 2016, as she told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, ‘He was so obsessed with my dad that the teachers called him ‘Achey Blakey’ because he just did everything that my dad did.’

With Shelton and Miley both getting their career start in country music, the two found their way onto the judging panel together, before Stefani replaced her after a multi-season hiatus in 2017.

The relationship between the two took off in front of viewers eyes and what started as a flirty friendship grew into more, with Blake saying in a 2016 Billboard interview that Gwen ‘saved my life.’

‘Who else on earth could understand going through a high-profile divorce from another musician? You can’t even imagine the similarities in our divorces,’ he said while touching on his 2015 divorce from Miranda Lambert and hers from Gavin Rossdale.

They made their love for each other known with red carpet appearances and flirty messages on social media and seemed to be heading for wedding bells.

In 2018 she told InStyle that she was ‘super in love,’ and he echoed the sentiments as he paid tribute to her on 50th birthday and tweeted, ‘I love you so much it’s actually stupid.’

The pair were engaged in October as they posted a kissing photo with an engagement ring and Shelton beamed, ‘thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life.. I love you. I heard a YES!’

Speaking about wedding planning amid a pandemic to Ryan Seacrest in December she said: ‘I really would rather it not be a COVID situation. I would rather not have masks and that kind of thing — and even when you cut it down to just family, it’s still too many people for COVID.’
