Elizabeth Sobinoff has vowed never to forgive her former groom, Sam Ball, after he fat shamed her.
Appearing on the Married At First Sight Grand Reunion, which aired in Australia on Monday night, the 29-year-old was still furious at the long-lasting impact of the comments made by the 27-year-old fitness enthusiast.
Lizzie, becoming emotional, recounted: ‘He never gave me the time of day. I can’t forgive how I was treated that way.

‘It does need to be said. His comments, the weight comments, have still trickled over. I never escaped that, and I don’t think I ever will be able to escape that.
‘Every day, every day walking down the street – not a day goes by my weight is not questioned thanks to this person.
‘I will never forgive that person. For not apologizing, and acting like, oh, it’s not a big deal. It is. Every day, I can never escape that – being the former fat girl.’

She went on: ‘I look different now, but I can’t ever leave behind. Mo matter what. And so he does not deserve anything, to be honest. No. I will never forgive that behaviour. Ever.’
In between seasons six and seven, Lizzie lost 10 kilos and changed up her look, dyeing her blonde hair brunette and opting for a bronzed tan.
She failed to find love with Sam in show’s sixth season in 2019, and he came under fire for fat-shaming her on their wedding day.
