Coachella and Stagecoach 2021 have officially been cancelled

Coachella and Stagecoach 2021 have officially been cancelled by the Riverside Department of Public Health

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival’s highly-anticipated return for April 2021 has been officially canceled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Dr. Cameron Kaiser, the public health officer for Riverside County where the massive festival is held annually announced the news via Twitter on Friday afternoon.

The two-weekend festival was being headlined by Travis Scott, Frank Ocean and Rage Against the Machine.

Additionally, Stagecoach Country Music festival has been cancelled.  

‘We look forward to when the events may return,’ Kaiser concluded on his Twitter. 

According to an announcement by the Riverside County Public Health Officer, the concerns were initially shutdown ‘based on concerns of a fall resurgence’ of COVID-19.
