Model Jessica Gomes steps out for a bite to eat in Byron Bay after arriving in Australia in December

She recently relocated back to Australia from Los Angeles.

And Jessica Gomes appears to be settling into life Down Under quite nicely. 

The model was spotted out and about in the nation’s celebrity hub, Byron Bay, on Tuesday.  

The Australian model, who hails from Perth, looked cool and casual as she grabbed a bite to eat for lunch on Tuesday. 

The 35-year-old was seen picking up some sushi in high-waist denim shorts, a pale yellow singlet and black thongs.

She paired her outfit with black sunglasses, a white wristwatch and pearl necklace.

Jessica’s brunette tresses were styled loose and she appeared to be makeup free for the occasion.

At one point, the beauty opted to wear a brown cap to keep her striking facial features out of the sun.

She then proceeded to take her phone conversation under the shade of a retail strip, before continuing on about her day. 

Jessica’s sighting follows her arriving back in Australia from Los Angeles, where she lived for eight years, in December.

‘Hiiii! Quarro here we go!! Open to food deliveries and cute tings [sic]! Yay 14 days let’s go!’ she captioned a post to her Instagram Stories, informing her followers she was hotel quarantining at Sydney’s Meriton Suites Sussex Street for 14 days.

In an interview with Vogue Australia in October, Jessica revealed she had developed a newfound appreciation for her hometown of Perth. 

‘Now, at this time of my life, I have to say I really love Los Angeles and I really love Perth,’ she said. 

‘I would never have thought that’s what I would say about Perth, but it really is so special – it’s so Aussie and salt of the earth. I realised how much I loved Perth over this past summer holiday.’

It is unclear if Jessica is waiting for border restrictions to ease before eventually travelling on to Perth after her stint in New South Wales.
