Cat on a hot car roof: Driver sets off for work without realising her pet has hitched a ride

A sleeping cat was woken up with a startle as it realised its owner was driving off in the car it was napping on.
While typically people leave their sunglasses or their wallets on the top of cars, a white and ginger cat was captured curled up on the roof of its owner’s SUV looking confused as it began to move and leave the house.
The cat’s owner was on her way to work in Khon Kaen, Thailand, when a neighbour spotted the adventurous feline on the car roof and alerted her.

In an impressive show of skill, the cat manages to stay on top of the car as it drives along the bumpy dirt track
Despite being on the move, the cat barely moves an inch as the car reverses out of the complex and drives out the gate.
In an expert display of balance and agility it manages to stay perfectly in place despite the car bouncing around over the bumpy dirt track.
The car disappears out of sight but reemerges just five minutes later after someone told the owner their pet was on their car.
Once the car returns five minute later the cat climbs down as soon as it can to escape the ordeal
It had managed to stay on the roof for the entire journey, returning just a few moments later in one piece.
As soon as it realises it is nearly home the feline makes a quick getaway as soon as it can, climbing off the car while it is still moving.
Once it has pulled up the driver can be heard shouting.
