Guy Sebastian’s wife Jules reveals the truth about influencer freebies

She is one of the most popular celebrity stylists and social media influencers in Sydney. 

And while many would assume that Guy Sebastian’s wife Jules gets most of her own designer clothes for free, the mother-of-two insists this is not the case.  

On Wednesday, the 41-year-old said she still buys her own clothes. 

She made the admission during the popular assumptions challenge on Instagram. 

When Jules was asked ‘You don’t pay for your clothes and get them all for free?’ by a fan, she responded that the assumption was ‘false’ and she still shells out for her own pricey wardrobe. 

‘I purchase almost all of my clothing,’ she explained.

‘There are absolutely days where I am styled for certain events or photo shoots where the clothes are generously provided by stylists and designers. 

‘But most of the things you see me in on the gram are from my own wardrobe.’ 

Jules went on to say the trick to her own styling was that she liked to wear her own pieces of clothing in various different ways. 

‘I like to keep things and wear them over and over again in a different way,’ she explained.  

Jules shared a photo of herself in a white tank and a pair of faded jeans, before letting fans know the jeans actually belonged to her musician husband Guy.   

Influencers often receive freebies, including clothing, in return for sponsored posts to their sizeable followings to promote sales.  

Jules has gained a legion of fans thanks to her chat show, Tea With Jules and her styling and design projects. 

Jules and The Voice star Guy Sebastian have been married since 2008. 

The couple share two sons Hudson, eight, and Archer, six, and live in a renovated $3.1 million mansion in Maroubra, in Sydney’s east.
