Bella Hadid commands attention in a striped woolen co-ord as she steps out in Paris after storming the catwalk for Fendi at Haute Couture Fashion Week

She stormed the catwalk during Kim Jones’ first ever Fendi show for Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris on Wednesday afternoon. 

And all eyes were still on supermodel Bella Hadid as she ventured out in the French capital the following day. 

The American star, 24, commanded attention in a striped sweater and matching wool slacks while exiting her hotel with an assortment of bodyguards.

On a chilly morning in Paris she added to her look with a brown quilted coat, while smart black stiletto boots rounded things off.

In accordance with current health and safety guidelines the model wore a protective face covering as she made her way onto the street. 

Accessorising tastefully, she carried a large leather handbag over one arm, while her eyes were shielded behind a pair of heavily tinted sunglasses.

The previous day Bella oozed sophistication in a black halterneck gown with a sheer overlay that flowed into a cape as she walked the socially distanced runway for Kim Jones.  

The model finished her ensemble with oversized earrings as she walked the catwalk in British designer Kim’s first ever show for the brand.

Models stayed socially distanced from one another amid the pandemic as they stood inside giant perspex letters which spelled out the word ‘Fendi.’

British designer Jones, who joined Italian fashion house Fendi as its lead designer for womenswear in September 2020, and continues to fulfil his role as artistic director at Dior Men’s.

Jones succeeds the late Karl Lagerfeld in his Fendi role, which the designer held from the mid-1960s. Chanel designer Karl sadly died February 19, 2019.

‘It’s quite a challenge,’ said Antoine Arnault, the LVMH group head of communications and chief executive of Berluti, who has known Jones since they worked together at Vuitton.

He told the New York Times: ‘Mr. Jones is one of our superstars. When you have a top footballer on your team, you want to let him play to to his full potential.’
