I’m a Celebrity’s Abbie Chatfield denies EVER having feelings for Ash Williams and claims she had ‘a crush’ on somebody outside the jungle
Abbie Chatfield and Ash Williams have been enjoying a low-key jungle romance on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
But on Wednesday, the former Bachelor star denied she ever had feelings for the comedian – and insisted their physical interaction was never romantic.
The 25-year-old made her feelings clear on Instagram after a fan offered their two cents on her relationship with Ash, 38.

The fan commented: ‘You need to watch the movie, He’s just not that into you!’
Abbie soon replied, explaining that while they were physically close in the jungle, it was never about romance for her.
She wrote: ‘Ash and I literally were cuddling every night and all day because we both have physical affection as our love language and needed affection to get through our time.
‘We repeatedly chatted about being just mates and I wanted to pash him because, well, we were cuddling every night and it felt weird to NOT considering how physically close we were constantly.
‘So, I never had feelings for Ash. We regularly spoke about someone I had a crush on on the outside.’

Abbie followed this up by denying the fan’s suggestion she had ‘unrequited’ feelings for the funnyman, after previously being left heartbroken on The Bachelor.
She wrote: ‘If you truly believe what you’ve written in your comment, why do you want to ridicule me for having someone not be into me?
‘Is it because your internalised misogyny teaches you to revel in another woman’s rejection? Is it because your tall poppy syndrome makes you desire my downfall?’
‘I’d feel for them, not want to make them feel worse’: Abbie followed up with another message hitting out at the commenter’s suggestion she has an ‘unrequited love’ for her co-star and slammed them for going out of their way to try and make her ‘feel worse’
‘Which is it? If I saw someone being “rejected” on TV I’d feel for them, not want to make them feel worse,’ she added.
I’m a Celebrity viewers have watched Abbie and Ash grow closer in the jungle, with the pair enjoying nightly cuddles in his bed.
