A mortified woman hilariously admitted that she has been incorrectly wearing a jumpsuit as a ‘complicated’ top for more than four years.
Madison, from Tennessee, said she had always found the outfit ‘complicated’ to put on, not realising she had been putting both of her legs through one of the leg holes.
She only recently discovered that the outfit was not a shirt, but a floral romper that she had hilariously been wearing with one leg hole out to one side of her body.
Madison’s close friend, who goes by the TikTok username @teampierce, shared the hilarious story to the social media platform, revealing her pal’s fashion faux pas.

She told her friend that she only recently discovered that the outfit was not a top, but a floral romper that she had hilariously been wearing with one leg hole out to one side of her body
Posting the chat conversation she had with Madison about the clothing, she penned: ‘I can’t make this up ☠️’
In the chat, Madison sent a picture of herself wearing the jumpsuit as she revealed: ‘I have had this top for like OVER 4 YEARS and I am JUST NOW realising that it is NOT a top, it is ROMPER.’
She explained that she had been wearing the jumpsuit as a top, illustrating what she meant by sharing a snap of herself in the outfit on Christmas Eve 2017.
Much to her pal’s disbelief, Madison continued: ‘It’s always bugged me how complicated it was to put on and how it never made any sense and now I freaking know why.’
As her friend asked her if she just had the other half of the jumpsuit ‘hanging to the side’, Madison revealed that she did as she thought it was a ‘side-swept top’ for four years.
A mortified Madison then shared a picture of how she was supposed to be wearing the clothing – as a jumpsuit with her legs correctly placed through each hole.
Viewers were quick to comment on Madison’s hilarious mistake, saying that they were still confused how she could have worn the romper as a top.

After the video racked up an impressive 230,000 likes on TikTok, Madison’s friend posted a follow-up video, assuring her followers that Madison ‘is not dumb’.
She also urged Madison to get a TikTok, under the username ‘rompergirlmadison’ in tribute to her fashion faux pas, and show everyone how she was wearing the jumpsuit as a top.
She said: ‘I’m so glad you guys thought that was as funny as I did. Um Madison is one of my best friends I promise she is not dumb. It could happen to anybody.’
