Former Bachelor star Jarrod Woodgate is currently enjoying a romantic getaway with girlfriend Sam Royce in the Northern Territory.
But on Tuesday, the 34-year-old showed the less-than-glamorous reality of hiking near Uluru in the middle of summer.
Taking to Instagram, Jarrod shared a video of his T-shirt covered in flies as he trekked near the ancient rock on Australia Day.

‘They love me,’ he grimaced.
The star then took a sip from his water and gave the thumbs up in a cheerfully sarcastic way.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed that Jarrod’s T-shirt was emblazoned with the logo ‘Always was, always will be’ – a message supported by those wanting to the date of Australia Day.
Jarrod and Sam have been enjoying a getaway in the Northern Territory for the past few days, and making sure to document their adventure by sharing awe-inspiring photos on Instagram.

Jarrod and Sam made it to the Northern Territory on Sunday.
‘After many times driving through central with the army but not stopping, I am so excited to finally explore Central Australia,’ Jarrod wrote on Instagram as they arrived at The Red Centre after a three-day drive.
‘First stop is three nights at Voyages Sails in The Desert where we will be walking around the base of Uluru, seeing the Field of Light exhibition,’ he wrote.
He continued: ‘dining under Uluru with the Sounds of Silence sunset dinner, hiking Kata Tjuta, taking part in Aboriginal food and cultural classes.’

Jarrod Woodgate and Sam Royce went public with their relationship in March.
The vineyard manager was previously in a relationship with Keira Maguire.
