Married At First Sight’s Gabrielle Bartlett says she knew her time in the limelight was temporary

EXCLUSIVE: Married At First Sight bride Gabrielle Bartlett says she knew her time in the limelight was only temporary as she reveals plans to become a marriage celebrant

Gabrielle Bartlett has managed to keep a relatively low profile after failing to find love with Nasser Sultan on Married At First Sight back in 2018.

And while her fellow brides and grooms continue to milk their 15 minutes of fame, the 45-year-old model has accepted her time in the spotlight is only temporary.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia on Monday, Gab said: ‘I always knew that my public platform was only ever going to be temporary.’

‘I wanted to use it to do my best to help others and give a voice to charities.’

Since her time on the show, Gabrielle has been using her social media accounts to promote and help fundraise for charities close to her heart.

‘It’s similar to my day job which is as Marketing Manager finding employment opportunities for people with Down’s Syndrome/intellectual disability,’ she said.

Since appearing on MAFS, Gab has been working in television and doing casual work as a plus size model and presenter for Openshop, a home shopping network.

Gabrielle has also been keeping busy studying as a wedding celebrant part-time.

‘You know me, I’m a lover of love and just trying to put the hopeless romantic side to use,’ she said.

Gabrielle announced the news to her Instagram back in August, writing: ‘Officially training with hopes of becoming a marriage celebrant!’

‘I might be the world’s first MAFS bride in training to become a civil marriage celebrant,’ she said.

‘So I look forward to keeping you posted on this special, very heartfelt venture!’
