Natalie Zea has fun joking around with her Unicorn co-star Walton Goggins

Natalie Zea is one of the brightest lights of the sitcom The Unicorn which came back to the air on Thursday after a holiday break.

And now the Dirty Sexy Money and Detour star told Entertainment Tonight that she was thrilled to be working on an ensemble.

The blonde beauty, who plays Shannon on the show with her Justified co-star Walton Goggins, joked she was ‘hazed’ when she joined the cast.

‘There was a hazing process, they hid my bra,’ jokes Texas born Zea who laughed along with Walton and the ET host during a Zoom interview.

Walton then told Natalie not to be ‘late for work’ next week before they signed off.

The show has seen an increase in ratings since Zea joined the cast as Goggins’ love interest and the two shared a steamy kiss on the street.

Also starring on the series, which launched in 2019, are Rob Corddry, Omar Benson Miller, Michaela Watkins and Maya Lynne Robinson.

Natalie – who is the lead on the new series LaBrea which debuts in the fall – and Walton co-starred on the long-running hit show Justified, based on a book from Elmore Leonard, from 2010 until 2015 – she played Winona Hawkins and he was Boyd Crowder. 

This time the actors are co-starring on CBS show The Unicorn which saw its season two premiere in November. And their chemistry is undeniable.

Walton plays widower Wade who is trying to make the most of his life as a single man with kids.

He then becomes smitten with Shannon, played by Zea; she already had a small role last season as the woman who chases a skunk in a cemetery. 

The first episode is titled There’s Something About Whoever-She-Was as it follows up on his meeting with the beautiful and witty Shannon.

He jumps through hoops trying to track down Shannon. 

After he finds the quirky wonder, who he has strong chemistry with, he wants to see where it goes.

He also spends time with his daughters, Grace (Ruby Jay) and Natalie (Makenzie Moss), as well as a married couple – Delia (Michaela Watkins) and Forrest (Rob Corddry), as well as Michelle (Maya Lynne Robinson) and Ben (Omar Miller.)

Zea has had a versatile career which includes Dirty Sexy Money with Donald Sutherland, The Following with Kevin Bacon and The Detour with Jason Jones.

She is married to Scrubs actor Travis Schuldt with whom she has daughter Reygan Zea Schuldt.  

Travis was last seen on Big Little Lies with Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman; he played Michael Something. And has also been seen on 9-1-1.
