An Instagram model dubbed ‘the Brooke Shields of Kuwait’ is due to stand trial in May for allegedly stalking and beating up her ex-husband.
Rawan Bin Hussain, 24, is accused of assaulting Mohammed Youssef Migariaf at Hyde Park Gate, central London, on June 24 last year.
The former Cosmopolitan Middle East star is also said to have damaged a £200 shirt belonging to the Libyan businessman.

Mother-of-one Bin Hussain, who has a law degree from King’s College, has denied assault by beating, stalking and criminal damage, through her legal team.
She was unable to travel to the UK from Dubai to attend her plea hearing last month after she tested positive for Covid-19.
Bin Hussain, who has been privately funding her defence, was excused from attending her latest case management hearing at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today.
Defending Bin Hussain – referred to in court as Ms Abdullah – defence lawyer Katie Mustard said: ‘She lives in Dubai, she is currently in Dubai with her young child.

‘With the current situation and all travel corridors being closed, there could be difficulty getting her into the country for trial.’
Ms Mustard said the Kuwaiti model felt ‘anxious’ about coming to court and opposed an application for her ex-husband to give evidence from behind a screen.
Simon Maughan, prosecuting, said: ‘There is nothing stopping the defendant coming from Dubai except that she must self isolate for ten days, but I’m not aware of any particular restrictions on flying from London to Dubai.
‘The victim states he’s in fear of the defendant. There is a long and standing history of threats and harassment and I make an application for screens..’
The bench granted the application and ordered Bin Hussain to abide by her bail conditions and not contact Mr Migariaf directly or indirectly, or attend his home address.

Her trial is fixed for May 25 at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
While studying law, Bin Hussain, of Fitzrovia, central London, was also working towards gaining her private pilot’s licence from the Oxford Aviation Academy.
In an interview in 2018, Bin Hussain said she was dubbed the ‘Brooke Shields of Kuwait’ by a magazine while living in Los Angeles.
She said of her popularity on Instagram: ‘I’ve got so many followers because I have an interesting lifestyle. I do full-time law school and part-time aviation.
‘To me, education comes first. Whether you have lots of money or not, you’re nothing without education… My whole life, I’ve worked so much to get good grades in high school to come to London and study.’
She added: ‘I got bullied so much in school for being overweight, but I put all my effort and all my energy into graduating as a top student and on working on myself – and look where I am today.’
