‘I think there was a lot of trust issues from both our ends, you know? We were both, like, always kind of second-guessing,’ she explained.

‘”Why haven’t you picked up my calls?” You know, all of that silly stuff. It started off great. We were so in love. But things kind of got nasty.

‘Started off with, you know, a little pushing around, and it didn’t end well. I was on tour and I turned up to one of the shows with a massive black eye.’

She said she and her ex would come up with ‘stupid excuses’ for what was really going on, even telling people she ‘got hit in the face with a ball’.

But she said the people around her all knew she was lying, which forced her to confront the situation.

‘From there, I just kind of decided that it wasn’t… I just kind of said, “OK, I think it’s done,”‘ she continued.
