Selena Gomez bundles up in a warm winter coat while filming Only Murders in the Building in New York

She shares an obsession with true crime in her upcoming role.

And Selena Gomez seemed to be infatuated with winter coats as she stepped out on set while filming Only Murders in the Building in New York on Tuesday morning.

The 28-year-old singer rocked a creamy jacket before changing into a black puffer as she made her way through Manhattan while wearing a protective face mask. 

Selena looked ready for the brisk weather as she hopped around set wearing a bulky beige ensemble. 

She teamed a long, shearling coat with matching sweatpants and wore a pair of worn-in Ugg boots.

Her dark brown hair was parted down the middle with clips holding back any loose fringe around her face. 

She was later spotted making her way through the city wearing another monochrome ensemble.

A long, black jacket with a thick hood protected Gomez from the outside elements, which she paired with black leggings and a khaki mini skirt.

The Hands to Myself singer carried a reusable cup in one hand with a Rare Beauty bag across her arm.

In her latest venture on the silver screen, Selena stars alongside Steve Martin, Martin Short and Vanessa Aspillaga in a drama about ‘three strangers who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves caught up in one,’ according to IMDb.

Her year in front of the camera (and microphone) has just begun as she’s also slated to work on In the Shadow of the Mountain and will also lend her voice as Mavis in Hotel Transylvania 4.

Nearly one year ago, Selena released her third studio album, Rare, which was followed up by a makeup line in the summer, Rare Beauty.
