Lena Dunham cuts her own bangs in quarantine: ‘I’ve made a personal choice to embrace uneven results!’

Golden Globe winner Lena Dunham announced on Monday that she had ‘made a personal choice to embrace the uneven results’ after cutting her own bangs in locked-down England.

Back in July, the 34-year-old native New Yorker said she used tips from hairstylist Sally Hershberger to trim her hair so it worked ‘from all the angles.’

Lena famously chopped her bob into an unflattering bowl cut during the second season finale of her HBO millennial dramedy Girls back in 2013.

The Industry director last made headlines for detailing her addiction Klonopin, rehab stint, and IVF failure following her 2017 hysterectomy in an essay for Harper’s Magazine.

‘Around this time, it became clear – first to everyone who knew me, and then, finally, to me – that I was addicted to benzodiazepines,’ Lena wrote last month.

‘The fact that I had myriad explanations for this dependency (among them chronic pain, heartbreak, the cracking of the brittle facade created by public life) didn’t matter; everyone has good reasons to stay in bed if you really think about it.’
