Kyle Sandilands: ‘Why Pamela Anderson would never date Grant Denyer’

Radio host Kyle Sandilands has weighed in on I’m a Celebrity star Grant Denyer’s bold claim that he once turned down actress and model Pamela Anderson.

Kyle, 49, said on Wednesday that he didn’t believe Pamela had tried to ask out the 43-year-old funnyman during a promotional tour of Australia in 2006.

He alleged that Grant most likely made up the story on Tuesday’s episode of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! to make himself seem more attractive.

‘I’ve told people things, too, to make myself seem more attractive,’ he said on The Kyle and Jackie O Show. ‘It’s a normal thing. Everyone does that.’

‘I do not [believe what Grant said] because Pamela Anderson likes very tall, tattooed, rock star lookers. That’s who she bangs,’ Kyle added.

The shock jock went on to list some of the men the Baywatch star, 53, has dated in the past – none of whom look anything like Grant. 

‘Kid Rock, Tommy Lee and the list goes on. Some of the surfy types… but a little elf looking f**king [person]?’ he said. 

Kyle is the latest celebrity to weigh in on Grant’s story about Pamela, after his own wife, Chezzi Denyer, claimed it was indeed true.

‘I remember vividly when Pamela Anderson tried to crack onto Grant. I told him then he was crazy to not go to the party with her but he was too scared! True and funny story!’ the 40-year-old tweeted after Tuesday’s episode of I’m a Celeb.  

Grant revealed on Tuesday’s show during a game of truth or lie: ‘Pamela Anderson wanted to date me… I was nervous as hell, really shy, very turned on.

‘She was like, ‘You’re cute.” She goes, “Do you want to come to a party with me?”‘ 

Grant told his co-stars he’d turned down Pamela’s offer because he had to catch a flight back to Sydney.
