Newly-single MasterChef judge Melissa Leong debuts a stunning transformation following split

MasterChef judge Melissa Leong is making changes in her life – both big and small. 

The 39-year-old has debuted a brand new hair ‘do just a month after her split from husband, Joe Jones. 

Taking to her Instagram on Saturday, Melissa shared a snap of her locks which appear to be lighter, with golden-brown highlights.  

‘New hair, who dis? ⁣A waaaaay overdue salon session,’ she captioned the glam selfie. 

Fans were quick to comment on the Channel 10 star’s fresh look, with one writing: ‘Suits you!’ While another added, ‘Always looking fab!’

The TV star also garnered a bit of attention as one fan commented: ‘Those lips!’

Melissa was quick to shut down any potential rumours in regards to her full lips, simply explaining she used a lip product and had good ‘genetics’.

This New Year has been one for change, particularly for Melissa who announced her separation from husband Joe Jones in December after almost four years of marriage.

‘It has brought us such happiness to walk together, but the time has come for Joe and I to part ways and walk on, apart,’ she began her post.

‘We ask for your kindness and consideration for our privacy, we will not be making any further comment as our private lives have, and will always remain exactly that.

Melissa previously had revealed she married the tattooed bar owner hunk in February 2017 after dating for only five months, because ‘when you know, you know’.

The pair dated for just three months when they decided to get engaged. They then eloped after Melissa filmed SBS’s The Chef’s Line, just two months later.  

Melissa has been a judge on MasterChef Australia since 2020, alongside Jock Zonfrillo and Andy Allen.

In November 2020, the star was named one of Who’s Sexiest People by Who magazine.
