Ashlee Simpson goes boho chic in rust velvet duster and $2.7K Fendi backpack during errands run

Ashlee Simpson has been enjoying some mommy time since welcoming her third child back in October.

But the Pieces of Me artist is also managing to steal away for some adult time, even if it just means running errands. 

She went boho chic Thursday in a rust velvet duster and a $2,650 Fendi sheepskin backpack, as she ran errands in her Encino neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The 36-year-old layered the coat over a black top, with matching leggings, black fuzzy slippers and a black face mask.

She later took to Instagram to show off her three-month-old son Ziggy Blu’s nursery: ‘When designing Ziggy’s nursery with @potterybarnkids we wanted to create a calm, zen space where the whole family could relax and spend time together. 

‘From feedings, to story time, to endless snuggles with his siblings, this room is filled with love and has become one of our favorite rooms in the house.’

Simpson posed for some family photos with husband Evan Ross, 32, and their newborn in his cozy room, decorated with warm colors and timeless accents. 

She told People: ‘For Ziggy’s room, we wanted the aesthetic to match the rest of our house. We thoughtfully designed the space so it would be something he could grow into. 

‘We chose warmer colors and textures, creating a nursery space that has an eclectic, bohemian vibe with a hint of rock ‘n’ roll.’

The Melrose Place actress and her husband welcomed their second child on October 29, sharing the news on Instagram: ’10-29-2020 ZIGGY BLU ROSS. Our sweet boy has arrived! I’m over the MOON we are so Blessed!’

The couple tied the knot back in August of 2014 at his mother Diana Ross’s estate in Connecticut, and they also share daughter Jagger Snow, five.

Simpson co-parents son Bronx Mowgli, 12, with ex-husband Pete Wentz, 41, to whom she was married from 2008 to 2011.
