Adele sparked hysteria among her fans on Wednesday as they figured out she’d had a secret tattoo.
The singer, 32, showed off the inking during her presenting stint on Saturday Night Live in October, but fans only noticed after the tattooist had shared a snap of the design 10 months earlier.
Adele’s tattoo is just the latest in her collection of inkings she’s had throughout her career, with her last tattoo being a replica of the planet Saturn, in what was thought to be a tribute to her son Angelo.

Adele first unveiled her tattoo during her SNL hosting stint in October, but given it’s minimal nature it largely went unnoticed.
In March artist Doctor Woo, who has also done inks for singer Miley Cyrus and model Bella Hadid, shared a snap of the mountain range design, but did not disclose who it belonged to or when it was done.
He wrote at the time: ‘Came across a lil nature view I did a while back.’

But on Wednesday many fans began putting two and two together as they figured out the wrist in question belonged to Adele, and began flooding the post with comments.
One wrote: ‘I know this hand,’ while another added: ‘IT’S YOUR HANDDDD.’
A third penned: ‘ADELE! It’s GORGEOUS,’ with one also writing: ‘YES ITS ADELES HAND.’

It was reported then the star had had a tattoo of the planet Saturn as a tribute to her son, as the planet represents reliability and patience.
This is not the songstress’ first tattoo in dedication to her beloved child, as the planet adds to her collection of meaningful inkings, which include an ‘A’ print behind her ear, ‘paradise’ on her left hand and ‘Angelo’ on her right hand.
The Set Fire to the Rain singer also has a ‘One Penny’ wrist tattoo in homage to her mother Penny Adkins, who raised her as a single mother since Adele was two.

Completing her intricate body art is her ‘1921’ arm inking – which represents her first two albums, 19 and 21, as well as a massive flying bird tattoo on her upper back.
It was reported in November that Adele returned to London from the US ahead of the second lockdown to work on her fourth album, which fans speculate will be titled 30, 31 or 32.
She has been residing in Los Angeles since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and was reportedly seen meeting a friend at the Chiltern Firehouse in the capital.

According to The Sun on Sunday, Adele chose to move back to London so she could focus on completing her fourth album.
A source told the publication: ‘Adele wants to lay low while she’s here, which is easy with shades and a face mask.
‘People don’t recognise her like they used to anyway. She’s not been able to release new music yet and she’s totally focused on that and getting each track just right.’
‘She still has a network of people she works with and links up with when she is over here.’

In November Adele teased that she would reappear next year with new projects.
‘I’m going back to my cave now to be the (single) cat lady that I am! Peace out til next year,’ she said on the show.
During the hosting stint Adele also admitted she still hadn’t finished her fourth album, telling the audience: ‘My album isn’t finished and I’m too scared to do both. I’d rather just put on some wigs and this is all mine by the way. Have a glass of wine or six and see what happens.’
In August, Adele also admitted she had ‘no idea’ when her next album would be released, after responding to a comment posted by a fan on Instagram.
As the fan asked: ‘Adele where’s the album?’ she replied: ‘I honestly have no idea!’
