From there, the Portugal-based pop superstar and her family made their way to Malawi on December 28, with a stop in Egypt, according to The Sun.

The publication reports that the travels continued from Malawi to Kenya on January 6, clocking up 11,707 air miles between the five countries.

MailOnline has contacted a representative for Madonna for comment.

It appears that her destinations of choice, reportedly arrived at via private jet, have made travel seamless, as those arriving in Malawi and Kenya are not required to quarantine as long as they produce negative COVID-19 tests.

While the UK has finally enacted restrictions requiring arriving passengers to present negative COVID-19 tests taken up to 72 hours prior to departure, that would have been the case when Madonna arrived in the English capital.

Since arriving in Kenya, Madonna and her family have been spending time with the Pokot Tribe in the Baringo Valley – something she branded a huge honour.

All four of her adopted children hail from Malawi, and Madonna has been spending time in their home country, which she calls her ‘home away from home’, before jetting to continue their tour in Kenya to meet tribes and locals.

Madonna shared a stunning video showing their visit to the Pokot Tribe, which she shared alongside a caption gushing over the experience.

Travel Restrictions During the Pandemic

USA: Madonna started her journey from Los Angeles, where there aren’t entry restrictions specifically for the state of California. However, since last year, those who are neither citizens nor residents are only permitted to enter the US for circumstances largely pertaining to business.

UK: While the UK has finally enacted restrictions requiring arriving passengers to present negative COVID-19 tests taken up to 72 hours prior to departure, that would have been the case when Madonna arrived in the English capital in December. Now, passengers not flying in from a country included in the travel corridor must isolate for 10 day after arrival.

EGYPT: All international arrivals, including Egyptian nationals, are required to present a negative COVID-19 test, taken no more than 72 hours before departing on their direct flight to the country.

MALAWI: All nationalities are welcome to travel to the country by air for business or leisure, provided they are in possession of proof of a negative COVID-19 test. Passengers arriving without valid documentation are required to provide samples for testing and isolate for 14 days. However, following a surge in cases, land borders were closed to all but citizens and residents in late December. Airports remain open.

KENYA: Arriving passengers must provide a negative COVID-19 test taken no less than 96 hours before departure. They must also fill out a Travellers Health Surveillance Form online for contact tracing.

Two days before, the group met with the Samburu Tribe, with the meeting also being recorded on video, while she added another impassioned message.

She wrote: ‘Spending time with the Samburu tribe is always an honor. They are nomadic warriors and here the men are singing, dancing and telling stories to attract the attention of the females.’

The started the tour in Malawi and Madonna shared details earlier this month, as she capped off amazing week in Malawi’ with her four youngest children by visiting the Jacaranda School for Orphans near Blantyre.

The Queen of Pop was officially at the school to cut the ribbon at the grand opening of the Madame X Dance Studio.

Madge proudly posed beside the sign at the studio, which was paid for through the non-profit organisation, Raising Malawi, which she co-founded with Michael Berg in 2006.

Madonna adopted David in 2006 when he was 13 months old and he was born in the village of Lipunga, which is located in Western Malawi, Africa.

She previously spoke to Vogue about their similarities, saying: ‘What he has more than anything is focus and determination. I’m pretty sure he got it from me…

‘He’s the one I have the most in common with. I feel like he gets me; he has more of my DNA than any of my children so far. Let’s see what happens — it’s still early days for everyone’.

Mercy meanwhile, also from Malawi, was adopted in 2007 when she was four and suffering from Malaria.

In a stunning display of love, Mercy previously said to her mom: ‘Even though sometimes I’m like, ‘Oh my god, I can’t deal right now.’ But I really love you and I want to thank you for everything, Mom.

‘I know you’re going through a hard time right now with your hip and all the injuries, but I want to say that you’re a really strong person. You deserve everything you want.’

Her youngest – Stella and Estere – were adopted from Malawi at the start of 2017. They lived in the Home of Hope orphanage in Mchinji for two years before their adoption.

When asked what drew her to her kids, Madonna said: ‘It’s inexplicable. Why do you fall in love with the people you fall in love with?’ You look into the eyes of somebody, you feel their soul, you feel touched by them — that’s it.’
