There goes the diet! Fans go wild as Walkers MAX teams up with KFC to release classic chicken and Zinger fillet flavours

Walkers has sparked a frenzy after announcing it’s teamed up with KFC to create two new flavours of the much-loved MAX crisps.
The British snack food manufacturer revealed Walkers MAX Kentucky Fried Chicken flavour and Walkers MAX Double Crunch Zinger flavour will be available nationwide from Wednesday 13th January.
The partnership comes after years of fans pleading for the two food icons to team up, with one person suggesting the idea for the collaboration goes as far back as 2009.

Walkers MAX Kentucky Fried Chicken flavour promises to deliver the same taste as KFC’s signature Original chicken recipe.
Meanwhile, Walkers MAX Double Crunch Zinger flavour will bring the same spice as KFC’s Zinger Fillets with the newest, deep-ridged MAX Double Crunch crisp with 2x the crunch of standard MAX.
People from across the country have taken to both Twitter and Instagram, revealing they’re eager to try the new comfort foods.

Social media users have revealed they’re excited to try the two new flavours, after years of pleading for the partnership
Walkers MAX KFC flavour crisps will be available in a variety of sizes, including 50g ‘grab bag’ size (RRP £0.85) and larger 140g sharing bags (RRP £1.99).
The new packets feature a 2-for-1 voucher, offering consumers 50 per cent off when they buy two of KFC’s ‘Meals for One’ range*.
The offer can be redeemed via drive thru or takeaway when a packet of the KFC x Walkers crisps is shown to a KFC team member, up until 31st July 2021 – giving fans plenty of time to get their hands on it post lockdown.
