Tensions seem to have reached breaking-point during Monday’s episode of ITVBe’s The Real Housewives of Jersey as the seven glitzy women clash in an explosive row.
A tense clip from the upcoming episode sees Jane Rayner reveal to the other six housewives that her fiancé of six years, Andy, is still married to his former partner.
At an extravagant dinner party, hosted by Australian Mia Ledbury, Jane, 56, admits that Andy is still waiting on a divorce from his wife – and has been for six years.

And the housewives did not shy away from sharing their shock at Jane’s revelation, with Tessa Hartmann insisting she shouldn’t wait ’20 years’ for him to get divorced.
But Midlands-born Jane, who has been twice divorced herself, said that she didn’t understand ‘what the big deal’ was, insisting that Andy plans on getting divorced.
During a confessional, she explained: ‘As much as I’d like to get married tomorrow, I don’t know what the big deal is. It’s just taking longer than everyone thought.’
However Tessa, the mother of reality star Talia Storm, tried to persuade Jane that sometimes you have to ‘walk away’ to make a man realise ‘what he needs’.

Speaking to a shocked Jane at the party, Tessa, 50, insisted: ‘If you love him, then sometimes you need to walk away from him to make him realise what he needs.
‘And if he doesn’t realise that, you can’t stand around for 20 years waiting on somebody to divorce their wife.’
Ex-model Mia, 44, and Kate Taylor both could not help but agree with Tessa, piling on their honest opinions as Jane gradually became annoyed at the dinner table.
But Ashley Cairney, the youngest of the seven housewives, described the increasingly heated row as ‘uncomfortable’ during a separately filmed interview.
Speaking to camera, the Jersey-native explained: ‘Poor Jane, this is quite uncomfortable.

‘It’s her relationship, her decision and it could be happening tomorrow for all that we know. Girls, back off a little bit.’
And at the tense party, a sympathetic Ashley even tried to stand up for Jane during the argument, as the other women continued to oppose Jane’s engagement.
She said: ‘He could be two days from getting a divorce we don’t know guys.’
But Kate, 51, was completely outraged by Ashley’s support of Jane, as she said: ‘He’s still married, that’s called bigamy!’
While Mia agreed, saying: ‘Don’t ask someone to marry you when you’re not even divorced!’

Kate added that ‘you can’t be half pregnant’ as Jane remained quiet across the table, looking angry and teary-eyed as the women loudly commented on her romance.
Speaking to camera, Jane insisted that neither her or Andy wanted to be in the situation, and raged that the women did not ‘listen’ to the reason why her fiancé wasn’t already divorced.
She fumed: ‘Look I don’t want to be in this situation, neither does Andy, but it is what it is. What do these girls expect? They don’t want to listen!’
But caving into peer pressure at the dinner party, Jane pulled her engagement ring off as she was left furious at the housewives criticising her relationship.
She said: ‘Girls! OK so my engagement ring is on the table!’
Cheating? Kate Taylor, 51, was completely outraged by Ashley’s support to Jane, as she said: ‘He’s still married, that’s called bigamy!’
The other housewives then immediately changed their tune, with outspoken Kate shouting ‘no’ and looking gobsmacked at Jane removing her sparkling ring.
And Ashley, who had previously been annoyed at her co-stars’ comments, asked Jane: ‘Why would you do that?’
Their sudden change in reaction only seemed to aggravate Jane more, as she seethed in that they had all been keen to tell her that her relationship is a ‘sham’.
Speaking in a confessional, she angrily said: ‘Don’t you dare look at me like that, you’ve all just told me my relationship’s a sham. Don’t look shocked!’
But it remains to be seen if Jane will patch things up with the housewives after the explosive row… and whether she will put her engagement ring back on.

The show is the second UK version of The Real Housewives franchise – there are more than a dozen covering various parts of the US but the only British location until now has been the award-winning The Real Housewives Of Cheshire.
The Real Housewives of Jersey follows the women’s lavish lifestyles in the little-known Channel Island – described as ‘a cross between St. Tropez and St. Ives’ and like ‘Ibiza meeting Minorca’- across 10 drama-filled episodes.
Giving a taste of what life on Jersey is like, the housewives previously described the idyllic island, which measures at a mere nine-by-five miles, as a ‘judgy place’ where ‘everyone knows your business’.
The gossip-fuelled reality TV series first launched on ITVBe on December 28, with the entire show being available to binge-watch on ITVHub in a first for the TV channel.

She is known for being straight talking and she loves a gossip and enjoys the finer things in life. Now her kids aren’t small babies anymore she intends to enjoy herself and enjoy her affluent lifestyle.
Hedi Green
Age: 57
Description: Adrenaline junkie Heidi has been living on Jersey for 35 years as a practitioner of natural medicine. She works with a spiritual mentor and calls on spirit guides to give her help.
She’s been divorced twice and is very close to her three grown-up daughters.
She is also well-known for speaking her mind, but is also an encouraging and supportive friend.
Hedi has been in a competitive skydiving team for 18 years and has recently bought a Royal Enfield motorbike.
She describes her journey so far as going from lady of the manor to Lara Croft.
Kate Taylor
Age: 51
Description: Kate has lived on Jersey for 30 years and is known on the Jersey social scene for her gregarious character and jaw-dropping outfits.
Kate is going through a divorce and looking forward to a new chapter in her life. Kate and her ex-husband used to run one of the island’s top hotels and evening venus, The Royal Yacht.
Kate is known as the life and soul of the party, in particular for her outrageous outfits and for dancing on tables.
She is also passionate about charities and has raised huge amounts of money for causes close to her heart.
Margaret Thompson
Age: 58
Description: Margaret moved to the island when she was 18 and has worked her way up from pot washer to the self-styled ‘Queen of Jersey property’.
Her company sells the top properties on the island and a billboard of her face welcomes you to the island at Jersey Airport.
Margaret is single, previously divorced, and is open to finding Mr. Right – but says he’d need to fit into her hectic life.
She owns one of the island’s best properties, a converted restaurant with a huge terrace where she throws extravagant and glamorous parties.
Mia Ledbury
Age: 44
Description: Ex-model Mia is originally from Australia, and moved to the island five years ago with her husband Dan and their two daughters.
She’s a stay at home mother but is keen to get back into modelling and expand her portfolio.
She said she still feels like a newcomer to the island and is slowly finding her feet slowly on the social scene. But she admitted that it can be a struggle to build friendships as she finds Jersey can be very judgmental and backstabbing.
Jane Rayner
Age: 56
Description: Jane is originally from the Midlands and is currently engaged after being twice divorced. She has three daughters from her previous marriages and has been lived in Jersey for more than six years.
She has the nickname ‘crazy Jane’ amongst her friends, as she doesn’t plan anything and always has a passport, mascara and a pair of knickers on her at all times.
Jane says some women on Jersey can be jealous of her looks as she often gets mistaken for being younger than she is and the fact she doesn’t exercise winds other women up.
Tessa Hartmann
Age: 50
Description: Tessa is from Scotland and moved to Jersey five years ago with her husband and film director Sascha Hartmann.
She is the mother, and manager, of reality star Talia Storm, and has three other children.
The PR fashion guru was awarded a CBE in 2016 for her services to the Scottish fashion industry.
She jokes she’s often been compared to the ‘Kris Jenner’ of Jersey and admits that she’s a ruthless businesswomen and describes herself as the ‘eternal hustler’.
