Retired AFL star Dane Swan joins KIIS FM’s Jase and PJ breakfast show as a weekly commentator
Retired AFL star Dane Swan is joining Melbourne breakfast show Jase and PJ on KIIS FM.
The 36-year-old made his debut on Monday, and will appear on the radio program as a regular commentator one day a week.
He told Radio Today: ‘I can’t wait to get started. I love to tell a story – I’ve got a fair few to share.’

The former Collingwood star also spoke to the Herald Sun about his new radio gig, and told the publication he was surprised at the offer to be a role on the hit breakfast show.
‘I think it will be good. Obviously I will play to my strength and talk a little bit of footy and a lot of nonsense. We should have a fair bit of fun,’ he said.
‘Obviously we can’t travel this year and I have a baby on the way, so life is going to be a bit different,’ the father-to-be, who is expecting his first child – a son – with longtime girlfriend Taylor Wilson, added.
And Dane makes three! He will appear on the Melbourne-based breakfast show, opposite hosts Polly ‘PJ’ Harding and Jason ‘Jase’ Hawkins, every Monday. Pictured left is PJ and right is Jase
‘I am sure I will have plenty to complain about when I get on the radio and it will give me a chance to get out of the house for an hour to get away from a screaming baby.’
Dane joining the show is quite fitting as he first revealed his exciting baby news on the Jase and PJ show, back November.
‘The cat’s out of the bag!’ Dane proudly declared at the time, before revealing their baby is due in February.

‘Not that I was hiding it, it’s very, very hard to hide a pregnant woman for the rest of your life, or hide a kid in the basement for the rest of its life,’ Dane joked.
‘Heard that doesn’t end well,’ the former sportsman quipped.
Dane said that Taylor, who he has been in a relationship with since 2010, enjoyed lockdown in Melbourne because it’s allowed her to spend her pregnancy at home with her partner.

‘Because I haven’t had the chance to get out and have the… every time we’d go back into lockdown, I’d be sitting there, blowing up, going, “I want to go out and get my last few months of freedom in,” and I look over and she’s smiling and laughing.’
