Pregnant Bindi Irwin shares a sweet photo of her husband Chandler Powell cradling her baby bump

Bindi and her new husband Chandler Powell will soon welcome their first child together.

And on Monday, the 22-year-old Wildlife Warrior cuddled up to her American wakeboarder husband in a loved-up photo shared to her Instagram account.

Bindi and Chandler looked happier than ever as they cradled her growing belly.

The adorable couple are seen posing in front of a staircase leading into bushland. 

As the arrival of Bindi and Chandler’s first child fast approaches, a family friend has revealed that the couple are making big plans for their baby girl.

‘Bindi has a lot of ideas about how the birth will look. Her dream scenario is to have the baby at home, with just Chandler, Terri and a midwife present,’ the source told New Idea.

‘After seeing so many animals give birth, she knows things don’t always go according to plan, so she’ll have her doctor on standby in case she needs to go in to hospital.’

The young couple are set to welcome their first child – a daughter – this year, and last month Bindi shared ultrasound footage of her growing baby. 

‘Our beautiful daughter is the light of our lives. Beyond thankful that she chose us to be her parents. I can’t wait for her to be here next year,’ Bindi wrote on Instagram at the time.

In the accompanying video, Bindi was seen in an ultrasound room as the camera panned across to show her unborn child projected on the screen.

‘This is so exciting. Look at our daughter, she’s so beautiful,’ she gushed.

Chandler could then be heard in the background saying: ‘Wow, you can see her heartbeat there. Oh my goodness, she is beautiful and very active.’
