Big Brother alums Nicole Franzel and fiance Victor Arroyo expecting first child together

Congratulations are in order for Nicole Franzel and fiancé Victor Arroyo.

The Big Brother alums took to Instagram on Sunday to announce that they are expecting their first child together.

‘Nic + Vic = our lil’ side kick,’ captioned Franzel. ‘We are SO excited to announce that we are PREGNANT! We feel so blessed & grateful.’

She included a hilarious photo of herself and Victor toasting their pending bundle of joy in bed, while surrounded by an assortment of mom-to-be craving foods like peanut butter, pickles and pizza topped with jalapeños. 

In the sweet snap, Franzel flashed a big beaming smile as she cradled her small baby bump dressed in a white top.

Arroyo was equally glowing in bed while giving a thumbs up in a black t-shirt with an image of Steve Carell’s character, Michael Scott, from The Office on the front.

Franzel also shared the month their child is expected to arrive on Planet Earth by posting a sign at the front of the bed that read: ‘Nic + Vic = lil’ side kick July 2021.’

The pregnancy sign also included a photo of the two sharing a kiss together and a snap of an ultrasound of the baby.

Around the same time, Arroyo shared the baby news on his own Instagram page with a photo of himself pointing at several ultrasound images of their growing baby.

‘we’re pregnant *7 week ultrasound picture; currently 11 weeks!!’ he giddily wrote in the caption.

He could be seen sitting in front of his computer in a red hoodie with a proud smile on his face. 

The couple first met on season 18 of Big Brother in 2016 but didn’t date at the time because Franzel was involved in an on-show romance with Corey Brooks.

Once the romance ended shortly after the season finale, the couple began to date, eventually confirming their relationship in September 2017. 

The pair would go on to compete on season 31 of The Amazing Race in 2018, and Franzel placed third on Big Brother 22: All-Stars, which aired starting in August 2020.

The couple planned to tie-the-knot in 2020 but they postponed their nuptials due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

‘We were very much looking forward to celebrating our wedding with a small group of close friends and family this December,’ they told Us in November 2020 before adding, ‘But due to COVID-19, we had to make the difficult but necessary decision to postpone until May 2021.’
