Adele’s manager ‘earned £26,457 PER DAY and earned £6million MORE than the star herself in 2019’

Adele’s manager Jonathan Dickins’ company reportedly earned £27,457 per day with impressive dividends of £10million in 2019.

According to The Sun, the singer’s boss is still raking it in despite Adele not releasing a new record since 2015.

The companies earnings comes to just under £200,000 a week, which is £6million more than Adele paid herself from her two companies in 2019.

Jonathan previously told how he is eagerly awaiting the release of Adele’s fourth studio album.

MailOnline has contacted Jonathan Dickins and representatives for Adele for comment.

It was recently revealed that Adele took a £10 million pay cut in 2019, after not releasing a record since her 2015 chart-topping mega hit album 25.

Despite the pay cut, the 32-year-old singer still managed to pay herself dividends of £4.75 million from two of her companies last year.

However, public financial records show that the figures are down from the massive £14.4 million she received in 2018.

Her monster-selling albums and singles and 2016-2017 tour are still raking in the cash for the star – who is now said to be worth an eye-watering £180 million.

She has two companies to look after her avalanche of cash. Melted Stone Ltd showed that the money is still pouring in from royalties from her records.

The firm has an impressive £43.5 million in cash in its coffers and the star took a £1.85 million dividend payment in 2019, according to figures published this week.

In 2018, the dividend was £3.9 million. Her Melted Stone Publishing Ltd has cash reserves of £13.8 million.

This firm takes the profits from her lyrics and sheet music and paid her a £2.9 million bonus compared to 2018’s £10.5 million.

Adele, who was brought up by her mother in a flat above a south London shop, now has three hit albums to her name 19, 21 and 25.

Last album 25 – released in 2015 – also took the music world by storm and sold 22 million copies across the globe.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that Adele laid down some initial tracks for her upcoming new album, in a top secret recording session in London earlier this month.

The news comes from drummer Matt Chamberlain – of band Pearl Jam – who told the Eddie Trunk podcast on SiriusXM: ‘I just got to work on some new music for Adele.

‘To hear that voice in my headphones was getting me chills. It was just so powerful and emotive. You know her voice, but to be across the room from somebody doing that, it’s just insane.

‘You hear it on the radio and whatever and you go, “Yeah, it’s really good”, but to be in the room with these people and feel that energy, it’s just so heavy.’

MailOnline contacted representatives for Adele for comment at the time.

It was reported in November that Adele returned to London from the US ahead of the second lockdown to work on her fourth album, which fans speculate will be titled 30, 31 or 32.

She has been residing in Los Angeles since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and was reportedly seen meeting a friend at the Chiltern Firehouse in the capital.

According to The Sun on Sunday, Adele chose to move back to London so she could focus on completing her fourth album, which is now expected to be released next year.

A source told the publication: ‘Adele wants to lay low while she’s here, which is easy with shades and a face mask.

‘People don’t recognise her like they used to anyway. She’s not been able to release new music yet and she’s totally focused on that and getting each track just right.’

‘She still has a network of people she works with and links up with when she is over here.’

Also in November, Adele, who has also wowed fans with her seven-stone weight loss, hosted Saturday Night Live in the US, and teased that she would reappear next year with new projects.

‘I’m going back to my cave now to be the (single) cat lady that I am! Peace out til next year,’ she said on the show.

During the hosting stint Adele also admitted she still hadn’t finished her fourth album, telling the audience: ‘My album isn’t finished and I’m too scared to do both. I’d rather just put on some wigs and this is all mine by the way. Have a glass of wine or six and see what happens.’

In August Adele also admitted she had ‘no idea’ when her next album would be released, after responding to a comment posted by a fan on Instagram.

As the fan asked: ‘Adele where’s the album?’ she replied: ‘I honestly have no idea!’
