Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber are the poster family for uncoupled bliss together with their kids

They split up in 2016.

Liev Schreiber, 53, and Naomi Watts, 52, proved once more that amicable exes are possible while enjoying a winter vacation together in Italy with their kids.

The actors were joined by their two children, Kai, 12, and Sasha, 13, stepping out to pick up some pizza in Venice, Italy on Thursday.

The former couple and their kids bundled up for the chilly January weather in winter coats and protective facemasks for their lunchtime jaunt.

Naomi kept it casual in wide-legged jeans, a black coat and an oversized beige knit scarf with sneakers and a black beanie.

Liev was equally low key in grey slacks and a navy blue jacket. The Ray Donovan star held hands with his youngest as the group walked through the Italian city.

At one point the family stopped to pick up a take-away pizza from a restaurant set up for outdoor dining – despite the winter weather – due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Liev has been based in Italy for a number of weeks, filming his new project Across the River And Into The Trees, based on the critically reviled Ernest Hemingway novel of the same name, in Venice. 

Over the New Year holiday, Naomi, Sasha and Kai joined him for some recreational time together hitting the slopes in the Italian Alps in Cortina d’Ampezzo.

The former pair split in 2016 after 11 years together, it’s unclear if they had ever officially wed. 

Since the end to their romance, Liev and Naomi have remained good friends and closely co-parent their children together. 

The actress is currently dating fellow actor Billy Crudup, 52, while Liev has been seeing actress Taylor Neisen, 27.
