Danny Dyer risks reigniting his feud with Olly Murs as he brands the singer’s music ‘s**t’

Danny Dyer has reignited his feud with Olly Murs as he branded his music ‘s**t’.

The outspoken TV star, 43, took a cheeky swipe at the singer’s songs while chatting to his daughter Dani, 24, about her birthing plans and what songs she will play.

The comment comes almost six years after Danny first slammed Olly during an appearance live on Radio 1 with Greg James.

During their podcast, Danny asked his daughter: ‘Have you got a playlist? How about if you listened to some really s*** music and then that might help?

‘Say you kick off with Olly Murs?’

Dani, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Sammy Kimmence this month, replied: ‘Oh no, I don’t want anything like that.’

In March 2015 Danny asked Greg to stop playing Olly’s tracks while appearing on his show for an interview.

He moaned live on air: ‘Do you have to play Olly Murs? Can you not play something else? Just pull a tune out?’

Both parties have had their fair share of public bust ups, while earlier this year Olly admitted he plans to make amends with his estranged twin brother, Ben.

Olly, who fell out with his sibling after dropping out of being best man at his wedding due to X Factor, has been inspired to heal their rift after breaking down in tears when watching twins Aoife and Katie Lynch audition on this year’s The Voice.

On burying the hatchet, the media personality explained: ‘I still want to make that change with my brother.’

During a recent episode of the singing competition, Olly praised contestants Aoife and Katie’s close bond, which ‘brought back memories’ of his brother.

Fellow panellist Sir Tom Jones offered him words of reassurance as he stated: ‘I understand what you’re feeling, but you will do it — you’ll get back together.’

The Thinking of Me hitmaker revealed he’s received feedback from his fans following his tearful appearance.

He added to The Sun: ‘A lot of people were reaching out to me who had brothers or sisters or family members and they said that I’m in the same position and seeing you tonight has made me want to have that change.’

The pair fell out in 2009 after the Heart Skips a Beat singer skipped his brother’s nuptials as the ceremony clashed with his schedule on X Factor, where he came second to Joe McElderry.

But it isn’t only Olly who his brother has left behind, with Ben also distancing himself from his parents and their sister, as the Dear Darlin’ hitmaker admitted ‘Christmas has never been the same’ since.

On their feud, Ben told MailOnline in January 2017: ‘I was very close to my parents, but fame and greed changed everything.

‘My parents wanted this bright, shiny Olly with the money who can give them the VIP lifestyle. They liked hanging around with Simon Cowell, or going to Bon Jovi concerts – they loved their VIP selfies.

‘I’m not interested in anything like that, I have a lovely life with my wife and kids. I’ve worked hard, been to university and got a degree, I’ve never wanted anything from Olly.’

Asked by Lorraine Kelly in 2018 if he though the rift could ever heal, Olly said: ‘I hope so, of course, it’s mad because every year I think about it, (will it be) nine years, 10 years.

‘I did text him for his birthday but he changed his number. Christmas has never been the same.’
