  • She now labels food and puts it in containers so it doesn’t spill and get ruined
  • She also says she finds it useful when she needs to do her weekly shopping

This ‘game changing’ freezer hack promises to save you thousands in spilled and spoiled produce and make it easier to do your weekly shopping.

An Australian mum revealed the simple freezer hack online and says she loves how she can ‘see what she needs’ at a glance, instead of digging through bags of frozen food.

She uses disposable containers for meat, ‘fakeaway’ and treats like chips.

‘Instead of bags of veg that spill easily we have a container for each one,’ she said.

‘For things like spinach & spring onions that are only small bags I have the container ‘vegetables’ were we can put the bags to keep them in the same place, we also put any spare bags in there.’

And mums were quick to praise the very organised approach.

‘What a great idea, thank you for sharing, you have just inspired me,’ one mum said.

‘Love this idea!’ said another.

‘Wow. Game changer. Takes the fun out of finding those blasted frozen peas though,’ said another.
