Singer SZA says she is ‘free’ of the pressure to win a Grammy

SZA has been nominated nine times for a Grammy but has never won.

However, losing so many times has released the 30-year-old from a certain pressure, she told the February issue of Cosmopolitan where she posed for photographer Djeneba Aduayom.

‘Once you’ve been nominated and lost, you’re very much free because you’re not concerned. I passed that threshold years ago—it’s an old energy to me. Why would I be mad?’ said the singer, whose real name is Solána Imani Rowe.
