The star kept it casual in a white t-shirt underneath a green hoodie jacket to stay cozy in the chilly winter weather.

She wore a pair of grey joggers to keep her legs warm throughout the walk; Mara also could be seen wearing a pair of Adidas sneakers.

The actress wore a pair of tinted sunglasses to keep the shining California sun out of her eyes during her outing, and wore a large white face mask to stay safe in the midst of the global pandemic.

Mara’s mother kept her wardrobe consistent as she wore a pink t-shirt with a matching set of sweatpants and a sweater that was wrapped around her waist; she was also wearing Adidas running shoes.

The Brokeback Mountain actress became a mother herself in May of 2019 when she had her first daughter with Jamie Bell.

Mara and her husband first met on the set of Fantastic Four, which they both starred in, and became engaged and married in 2017.

Through her marriage to Bell, she also became a stepmother to his son, aged seven, from his previous marriage to Evan Rachel Wood.

In an interview with Us Weekly, the My Days of Mercy actress said that the difficulties of navigating between the demands of her career and the responsibilities of being a parent became quickly apparent for her.

‘As a new mom when you have a baby on your boob screaming in the trailer, and then you’ve got to go pretend to be sexy, it’s kind of a complete nightmare,’ the actress stated.

Mara did note that she had found a balance between the two that worked for her, as she opined that ‘I find it quite easy to switch it on and off.’

The Chappaquiddick actress then spoke about how she was hopeful that she could begin working on projects that her daughter would be inspired by.

‘Eventually she’s going to be able to look at the work I’ve done…And now more than ever, I want it to mean something and for there to be a point to it,’ she stated.

In the meantime, Mara seems to be enjoying her new role as a mother and commented on how her stepson is adjusting well to having a new sibling in the mix.

The actress described Jack’s relationship to his baby sister as: ‘protective, incredibly protective.’

Looking ahead: Mara stated in an interview that she desired to shape her future career around projects that her daughter would be proud of, and mentioned that 'I want it to mean something'; she is spotted at the 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards in 2019
