The rumours are true: Ash Williams and Abbie Chatfield did hook up on the latest season of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
Comedian Ed Kavalee, who is one of Channel 10’s most popular stars, confirmed the romance on Hit Hobart’s Jimmy and Nath on Tuesday.
The Have You Been Paying Attention? star, 41, made the admission while discussing the fact Ash has a bizarre side hustling selling photos of his bare feet online.

He continued: ‘He hooked with Abbie Chatfield in the jungle. He’s Australia’s loosest person. He’s got the smell of lawsuits following him.’
Rumours have been swirling for weeks that the pair hooked up while filming the show in northern NSW in November last year.
Abbie and Ash ‘became quite the item – so much so that things continued [between] them after the cameras stopped rolling,’ TV Blackbox reports.

Meanwhile, Woman’s Day claims ‘a romance definitely heats up’ between them and their ‘union throws other campers off’.
Interestingly, during Sunday night’s season premiere, Abbie went into the jungle with the mindset of steering clear of potential flings.
‘I’m not getting involved in love on TV ever again,’ she said.
Abbie and Ash had an awkward encounter when they first met for a challenge.
The funnyman told her she’d ignored his direct message on Instagram when he reached out to her in 2019, after watching her get her heart broken on The Bachelor.
‘Yeah, yeah. I DM’d you a while ago,’ he said.

A visibly shocked Abbie responded: ‘Oh… was it anything nefarious? I often get pictures when I get DM’d.’
‘I think you saw it. It said “seen”. But it’s okay,’ Ash said. ‘No, you were busy. You just got off The Bachelor. It’s all good.’
The pair have been exchanging flirty comments on Instagram since filming wrapped, fuelling rumours of a jungle romance.
