Man horrifies Twitter with recipe for a hand-shaped M&M cookie stuffed with Greek SALAD – which he spent a week making because he ‘saw it in a dream’

  • Twitter user @thatfrood from Madison, Wisconsin said he had a dream about a dish called ‘King’s Hand’
  • It’s a ‘hollow hand made of M&M cookie, filled with Greek salad’
  • He couldn’t stop thinking about it, so he bought a silicone mold for his hand, baked the cookie inside it, and stuffed it with tomatoes, cucumbers, and onion
  • Other Twitter users are calling the dish ‘cursed’ and a ‘nightmare’
  • @thatfrood even broke down the recipe for anyone who wanted to try it at home

A Wisconsin man has horrified Twitter users with his very unusual recipe for a salad-stuffed M&M cookie — which he cooked and ate because it came to him in a dream.

Twitter user @thatfrood from Madison explained that he ‘had a dream where there was a food called “King’s Hand”, a hollow hand made of m&m cookie, filled with Greek salad.’

While most people would dismiss such a bizarre and unappetizing dream dish, @thatfrood took it as inspiration, and spent a week preparing the salad-cookie combo which has left Twitter users reeling.

The man admitted that after the dish came to him in a dream, ‘I could not stop thinking about it.’

He decided to make it, and — possibly due to quarantine boredom — was willing to put in quite a bit of effort.

‘First, you will need to make a mold of a hand. For this I used food grade silicon putty safe up to 400 [degrees]. I ordered it online. It takes an hour to go solid,’ he said, showing how he used the silicon putty to make a mold of his own hand.

‘Next, make M&M cookie dough. I just took some recipe off online. Fill your mold with the dough,’ he went on.

While he filled the mold with enough dough to take on the shape of the hand, he left the bottom of it hollow to leave room for the salad.

Images of the concoction — and of @thatfrood actually eating it — have gone viral, but it doesn’t seem that any of the 168,000 people who liked his tweet are planning to make their own King’s Hand.

‘I am completely speechless,’ wrote one.

‘Why would you do this to us? To yourself?’ asked another, while a third wrote: ‘I both respect and am repulsed by this..’

‘I have to say that the photo of this dish makes me feel the same feeling that I get after waking up from a fever dream. So. Good job on bringing surrealism into real life,’ wrote yet another. ‘Also. This is very cursed.’

One wanted to share it in a Facebook group called ‘food crimes are real and we need a food police force to stop them!’

‘This is a nightmare and i’m afraid of it,’ said one more.

Some were more optimistic, with one writing: ‘Everyone says “follow your dreams” but you actually did it!! Congratulations.’

‘My fellow person this is downright admirable of you! You had a dream and you actualized it, something few people ever achieve,’ commented another.
