Josh Brolin’s wife Kathryn enjoys an evening cuddle session with newborn daughter Chapel Grace

She welcomed her second child, a daughter named Chapel Grace, with husband Josh Brolin, 52, on the evening of December 25.

And Kathryn Brolin looked beyond smitten with the newborn on Friday afternoon in a series of clips shared to her Instagram Story.

The 33-year-old actress, with her lengthy blonde hair styled in braids, cradled Chapel Grace in her arms as they lounged on the couch.

Kathryn smirked sweetly for the camera, while a noticeably bundled up Chapel Grace writhed around. 

Chapel rested in her mother’s arms, while donning a white long sleeve shirt and a pair of pint-sized leggings.

Kathryn, also wearing a white long sleeve top of her own, pressed her baby to her chest and planted a kiss on her tiny forehead.

In a follow-up video, the wife of Josh Brolin posed in front of a floor-length mirror in her home’ enviably spacious kitchen, while Chapel slept in her arms.

Chapel’s mouth was wide open and her head was resting comfortable against Kathryn’s chest. 

Due to the cold weather in Georgia, Kathryn decided to throw a grey cardigan over her thin long sleeve shirt and even slipped on a pair of black and white color block leggings. 

As she zoomed in and out of her and her sleeping daughter, a smile swept across Kathryn’s face.

To end the clip, she leaned her head down towards Chapel Grace and kissed her sleeping head.

Although Chapel was born on the evening of December 25, Kathryn and Josh waited until December 27 to reveal her birth to their following on Instagram.

‘Baby Chapel❤️ ‘ began Kathryn in her post. ‘Born at 6:20 pm on 12/25/20. Our little Christmas evening angel…Chapel Grace Brolin.’

Along with her big announcement, Kathryn shared the very first photo of Chapel Grace with her followers.

In the sweet snap, Chapel appears swaddled in a pink and white blanket with her eyes closed as she naps in her parents’ living room. 

One hour after debuting their newborn, Kathryn shared another photo of Chapel sleeping in a dark room with a string of multi-colored Christmas lights glowing in the background.

Naomi Campbell extended her congratulations in the comment section, in addition to Helena Christensen, who wrote ‘Yessss she made it on my birthday.’

‘️Sweet baby! Congrats mama and papa! Welcome Chapel,’ actress Kate Hudson wrote under the adorable picture.

And on Thursday, Kathryn uploaded a photo of two-year-old daughter Westlyn placing her polished foot next to her little sister’s feet, captioning the post: ‘Sissies.’ 

Josh and Kathryn, who wed four years ago, also share daughter Westlyn Reign.

Additionally, the Academy Award nominee’s has two adult children, Eden, 26, and 32-year-old Trevor, from his first marriage to Alice Adair.
