And, Sinitta, 52, blended safety into her unique sense of style as she teamed a face visor and baseball cap with a long sleeve bikini for a beach day in Barbados, on New Year’s Eve.

The singer colour coordinated her ensemble, opting to wear black and red items, which ensured she commanded attention as she jumped on a chauffeur-driven jetski to spend time on Simon Cowell’s luxury boat.

Sinitta displayed her washboard abs and belly button piercing in her eye-catching swimwear set.    

The former X Factor judge styled her raven tresses into effortlessly beachy waves and shielded her eyes with oversized sunglasses, further accessorising with an S pendant necklace.

Adding a designer touch to her attire, Sinitta strolled along the beach in a pair of quilted Chanel Dad sandals and carried her belongings in a Prada crossbody bag.

She also draped a coordinating phone sling around her neck and held a multicoloured grab bag in her hand.    

The singer was seen confidently showing off her eclectic style on the beach in Barbados, before being taken to Simon Cowell’s luxury boat via a jetski. 

Sinitta recently revealed she caught coronavirus nine days before Britain went into the first 2020 lockdown, after a gig in London.

The singer added that Simon Cowell knew she had become ill because of their ‘psychic’ connection. 

She told the Sunday Mirror: ‘I caught the virus after doing a club gig, next day I felt as if I’d swallowed a packet of razor blades, I was in bed for about a week. 

Sinitta said she didn’t tell Simon she was ill ‘but it wasn’t long before he got in touch’. 

The TV star continued: ‘We speak quite frequently. I didn’t call as I didn’t want him worried – I thought, “Well, there’s nothing he can do”.’

However, she went on to reveal that when the music executive, 60, finally got through to the star, he knew she had been ill with the virus.

She shared: ‘He told me, “We have this weird connection, I can just tell when something’s wrong”.’

Simon and Sinitta had an on-off relationship for 20 years after first meeting in the 1980s.

And in May 2020, the singer has suggested her on-off romance with Simon was ‘never really over’ until he had son Eric with girlfriend Lauren Silverman in 2014.

Asked when she and Simon had ‘finally called it quits’ on their love affair, the singer told new! Magazine: ”There was always an element of “well, it’s never really over.”  

‘But when Eric was born that was it. I would never come between his family,’ adding that she ‘adored’ Eric, now six.

Discussing the ructions caused between her and Simon, she added: ‘[Lauren] and I were best friends. I’m really happy for them, but it was hard and caused a fallout. 

Sinitta said she had a long-held belief that once Simon had stopped dating other women, they would eventually end up together, adding that she would have married him and ‘never’ fell out of love with him.
