Angie Kent declares she’s ‘moving forward’ and ‘resilient’ after Carlin Sterritt split

Angie Kent was feeling free as a bird as she enjoyed New Year’s Day with friends in Queensland on Friday. 

In an Instagram post, the former Bachelorette star was joined by her pal Lauren Biggs as they enjoyed drinks on balcony with spectacular views of the Gold Coast.

In Instagram Stories shared on the same day, the 30-year-old was surrounded by friends, and absolutely beaming. 

Wearing a flirty floral dress and sunglasses, Angie appeared not to have a care in the world as she headed to Galaxy Seafood and Mediterranean Restaurant with pals. 

In her caption, Angie said she was dancing into 2021 full of hope and love.  

She wrote: ‘Let’s not re read last years chapter. We’re letting go and moving forward with way more love in our hearts and knowing we’re resilient as feck. Sending bulk love to all! Happy New Year pups!’ 

It comes after Angie’s ex Carlin Sterritt, 31, went public with his new girlfriend Emily Bradwell.   

The loved-up couple went Instagram official this month, both sharing photos to their respective accounts.  

The new relationship began after Carlin and ex-girlfriend Angie announced their breakup in July after just 10 months of dating.

In July, Angie claimed they parted ways because their ‘values didn’t align’.

Last month, she explained their decision to separate further on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, saying their religious differences drove them apart – and the reality star admitted she couldn’t handle dating a Christian.

‘He was very religious and had all these ideas that I should be a certain way when I wasn’t,’ she said.
