She started dating retired AFL player Brent Staker in March last year.

And on Thursday, MasterChef Australia star Justine Schofield shared a rare picture of the low-key couple on Instagram.

The chef, 35, who is known for being notoriously private when it comes to her love life, celebrated New Year’s Eve with Brent, 36, at Cabarita Beach, NSW.

In the accompanying image, Justine and Brent were all smiles as they cuddled up in front of a full moon.

Justine kept things casual in a pair of blue shorts and a grey singlet, and styled her long blonde hair loosely.

Brent opted for a pair of black patterned shorts and an olive green T-shirt. 

Justine and Brent reportedly started dating early last year, and were first pictured together on his Instagram account on March 14.

Brent, who played footy professionally for 13 years until his retirement in 2015, has even introduced his girlfriend to his family.

In June, the former West Coast Eagles and Brisbane Lions star took Justine to visit his relatives in Broken Hill, NSW.

Justine briefly spoke about her relationship status in August during an interview with Gary Mehigan’s A Plate to Call Home podcast.

Offering a rare glimpse into her dating history, the blonde spoke of the break-ups she went through while filming her Channel 10 cooking show, Everyday Gourmet.

‘I’ve had two terrible break-ups throughout the ten years, and it all comes down to not being around because I’m always on the road,’ she said.

Justine revealed she had since found a better work-life balance.

‘Now I’m in a loving relationship and I remind myself that I do need to say no to things sometimes,’ she explained.

Justine previously dated TV presenter Matt Doran from 2014 to 2017.

Matt, who hosts Weekend Sunrise, is now dating the executive producer of Nine’s Weekend Today, Kendall Bora.
