Samantha Armytage married millionaire businessman Richard Lavender at his Southern Highlands estate on Thursday.

The 44-year-old Sunrise host said ‘I do’ in an intimate ceremony at Richard’s 40-hectare property in Bowral.

Situated on the sprawling property is a modern-looking compound, most likely to be the homestead.

There’s also plenty of parking out front for the wedding’s guests, with a long swimming pool positioned out back.

The house is surrounded by open fields of green grass, with trees surrounding the property and a series of nearby creeks.

The pair married at his home around midday, and then moved to a luncheon at the Centennial Vineyards Restaurant in Bowral.

Both Samantha and Richard, 61, own separate properties in the New South Wales Southern Highlands.

In June, Samantha put her North Bondi home on the market, suggesting she was planning on moving to the countryside full-time.

She bought a $2.2million five-bedroom country estate nearby back in 2017.

It was believed she traded her North Bondi house for a smaller property in the city, which will act as her base during the week.

In an interview with The Daily Telegraph in July 2017, Sam spoke about escaping from the city to her country estate.

‘For years and years I have talked about it and I’ve known that my country roots are important to me but nowadays I’ve realised that I really need it for my sanity I guess, to get back to the country and get my hands in the dirt and be in nature,’ she said.
